Another perennial that needs a hard cutting back at the beginning of spring this sage will create tall drifts of soft light green foliage with pretty light blue flowers at the terminal ends. Plant Bog Sage in full sun or an area where it can get the afternoon light to brighten up an area with low planted perennials like Salvia ‘Hot Lips’ or Salvia ‘Huntington Red’.
