Salvia involucrata ‘Bethellii’ is a broad growing sage with light green leaves and bright pink flowers on its terminal growing points. Mass planting this beauty will fill out a large area quickly if given some afternoon shade and modest water during the summer. Expect the flowers to develop in earnest over the summer months and last well into early winter. Cut this one back modestly after flowering if you want to maintain some green during the winter months. A single plant can become 1.5m x 1.5m after the second year.
