Limonium is a drought tolerant durable perennial that have large leathery light green leaves. It form clumps approximately 300mm across and with proper care and time will grow larger again. In summer through early winter a terminal panicle of small blue flowers with white centres last for months attracting butterflies and other important pollinators. Tolerant of dry coastal sites and found in the hills though too much water will rot their roots.
